As demand for Avalon Acres' products has grown, we found we couldn't possibly do everything and supply all the product that was in demand.

About this time we were approached by a couple of Amish families who were looking for a way to stay in small farming but also sell their products in a way that would enable them to stay on their farms.  They asked if we could help them.  We needed them and they needed us!  We shared stories, lessons, tips, laughter and tears.  We've become very close to these families and continue welcoming new growers all the time.

In 2004, we started our partnerships with several Amish farming families. We now have over 40 families involved in producing great Tennessee foods for Avalon Acres Farms.  Most of our farmers live and farm without the use of electricity. Your support has so greatly and directly impacted the lives of these hard-working folks.  If they could they'd give you a big cyber-hug to thank you!
